We've had lots of help - a whole month of it between my Mom, Janness, and Rob's works PTO.
I've been on my own for a week now! I was super nervous but every day gets better.
The casualties this week while I've been asleep (destroyed by the 2 yr old): Fridge Lock broken, DVD cord cut up with kitchen shears, drape panel with same shears, box of strawberries, couch pillow pink from strawberries, chocolate syrup bottle (thank goodness it was on the kitchen table), multiple bags of crackers smashed on the floor and scattered everywhere.
Luckily no body parts have been involved!!
We are also adding this addition to our family!

We are supposed to close in a few weeks. I know--so much for NOT buying a house and planting ourselves here but I guess we are! Wish us luck!!

Either thats a big boy, or Hanna is SMALL. She only weighs 14 lbs and is 25 inches long. I think its a boy thing. Super cute, anyway! Love the house! Where is it located? My brother Ryan and his wife Jen live in Gilbert. We're thinking of visiting in the fall.
i'm so jealous. seriously? you found a craftsman in AZ?!?! we are looking here in vegas and i hate everything. well, there are a few million dollar homes that i love, but nothing in the affordable price range. what a great find for you! can't wait to see more!

Liz- The house is in a town called surprise. its about a half hour away from everything. Its like the Lehi/Eagle Mountain of Arizona so it has been hit pretty hard but the neighborhood- Marley Park - is still desirable and is maintaining its equity better than others. The whole Marley Park neighborhood has unique homes and GRASS and TREES. Crazy! Hard to find right?! Even in the more expensive neighborhoods we didn't see anything like what we see there. Then it has been hard to get an offer accepted b/c there are multiple bids and cash offers so we got LUCKY! We were third in line and some how got it. Its a HUD home too so there is some built in equity that makes a feel a little better buying int his market. But its the kind of place I could love for 10 yrs if we had to! The builder is Ashton Woods I looked in Vegas but didn't see that they built there.... Good Luck!!!!! You will find your gem amidst the Tan and Brown. I actually shouldn't say its our yet until we actually close- being at the banks mercy you never know what could happen!!
and yes-- the baby is huge!! my biggest by far!!!!

I'm so happy for you! We are building a craftsman style right now...well, we should be digging the hole on monday or tuesday! Benny is soo cute. I once watched gracie pull a whole spool of dental floss out when I couldn't handle everything at once. I considered it money well spent, she wasn't hurting anyone.

Ok so I need to figure out how to get comments emailed to me and then for me to reply! We haven't soldour middle house- we are going to try and keep both- super stressful!!! Well see how it goes- we have a great renter now that makes it easier..... We should close next week!
Ben is so darling, I love his hair! He's a doll for sure! I miss the newborn stage. And your new house is soooo beautiful, I love craftsman style homes too. Congrats!
